But we will tell you what other people thought of it! These are two fine and beautiful kids who have opinions, oh they have opinions. And we found them whilst strolling the streets. They saw our super awesome Flip Camera (do we get our product placement money yet?) and begged to be interviewed. It was actually kind of sad.

Well, we don’t like to comment directly on current movies, but we will say… we don’t not agree with their opinions. Wink!

Some of that might have something to do with superhugemegastar Christian Bale who will grace the Chinese screen with his commanding presence. Most of his dialogue will be in Chinese with a sizable minority in English, and this will arguably be the first time a major Hollywood star acts in a major Chinese film.

The shoot just finished recently and the word is good.   This will be a sure hit in China and may do quite well overseas as well. It’s hardly the first time an Asian movie (hello Crouching Tiger…) has made it big in America.  And one can argue that Christian Bale’s  star power gives this film an even bigger boost in making it an international success.  Plus Zhang Yimou has had his fair share of success with Hero and House of the Flying Daggers. However, devil’s advocate…Rescue Dawn had celebrated director Werner Herzog and it made a paltry 7 mil box office gross…yes its a small film but the point is Christian Bale plus an acclaimed directors don’t always equal Batman size numbers.

Okay enough pontificating here over the Chinese/Bale debate.  Let’s do a pretend office pool.  What does everyone think this movie will rake in gross?  Our team will comment our wagers below…we suggest you do the same.

It’s all over the blogosphere (Twittersphere? Facebook-o-sphere?).  Elusive graffiti artist Banksy staged a coup on Sunday night’s episode of “The Simpsons.” Banksy replaced the normal credit sequence with one that is just plain awesome.
