Located smack-dab in the center of Harlem's projects at 155th Street and Eighth Avenue, the legendary Rucker Park has courted such superstars as Wilt Chamberlain, Dr. J, and Kareem Abdul-Jabar, not to mention many of the greatest ballers that you never heard of. ON HALLOWED GROUND explores the legacy of Rucker Park and gives a voice to the countless stories of underprivileged kids who have risen out of the ghetto through streetball. Featuring legends of the past who have graced Rucker Park, including hall of famer Julius Erving, Pee Wee Kirkland, Elton Brand, Mark Jackson, Vince Carter and many others. The film is narrated by Andre Braugher.
