An aggressively modern 18-year-old Chinese woman, Sasha, is four months pregnant from a fling back in Beijing. Interrupting her first year of college in Nebraska, she travels to San Francisco to abort the child and confront her lover's male friend. Sasha's unborn baby takes her on a daring journey from Beijing to the streets of San Francisco, where her experiences make her think twice. Wayne Wang's THE PRINCESS OF NEBRASKA premiered at the Telluride Film Festival in 2007, and went on to exhibit exclusively on YouTube's Screening Room through FilmBuff.

""Ling's performance subtly captures [her character's] gradual maturity, and [her] willingness to treat life more seriously seems, in personal terms, like a different kind of great leap forward.""
